Whether an organisation has gone into administration, <strong>stopped responding<\/strong>, or a project has simply <strong>stalled<\/strong>, authority users previously had no way to close it out \u2014 leaving dashboards cluttered and data incomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, a set of new tools gives you more control over the <strong>full project lifecycle<\/strong>, from closing stuck projects to managing offers and edits, all from within the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2705 Close projects that won&#8217;t be completed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a project is clearly not going ahead, you no longer have to leave it open indefinitely. <strong>Authority users<\/strong> can now <strong>force-close stalled projects<\/strong>, keeping your projects list accurate and your data clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 <strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Force-close becomes available <strong>6 months<\/strong> after a match with no due date, or <strong>2 months<\/strong> after a due date has passed. If one party has already given feedback, it becomes available once all <strong>three automated reminders<\/strong> have been sent to the other organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll be asked to <strong>select a reason<\/strong> for force-closing, and if none of the options fit, you can describe the situation in your own words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Know the impact before you close<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Force-close is a <strong>last resort<\/strong>, and it&#8217;s worth understanding what happens when you use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an organisation hasn&#8217;t given feedback and a project is closed, they&#8217;ll automatically receive a <strong>3-star rating<\/strong> for that project, and it will show as <strong>&#8216;Completed: Closed&#8217;<\/strong> on their dashboard. Lower ratings can affect an organisation&#8217;s <strong>credibility with future partners<\/strong>, and &#8216;Completed: Closed&#8217; signals the project ended <strong>without confirmation of impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before force-closing, it&#8217;s worth <strong>chasing feedback one more time<\/strong> \u2014 or using any updates from direct contact with the organisation to <strong>complete the project properly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Organisations still get a chance to respond<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Force-closing isn&#8217;t immediate. Suppliers and community organisations that haven&#8217;t submitted feedback will receive an <strong>email notification<\/strong> and have <strong>7 days<\/strong> to still submit it. After that window closes, the <strong>3-star rating applies<\/strong> and the project shows as <strong>&#8216;Closed&#8217;<\/strong> on your dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to chase manually during this window \u2014 <strong>the system handles it for you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Request edits within the platform<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Authorities can request edits to live projects &amp; offers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>authority users<\/strong>, you can now <strong>request edits<\/strong> to any live project or offer listing that isn&#8217;t already under offer or request, directly from the project page using the new <strong>&#8216;Request edits&#8217;<\/strong> button. One less thing to manage over email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Give a reason for declining resource requests<\/strong><br>When you need to decline a resource request, you can now share a reason why. Clearer communication, less back and forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>More flexibility for community organisations<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Community organisations have more flexibility managing resource requests<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When requesting resources from the Supplier Offer directory:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:20px\">By visiting the offer page, they\u2019ll see a \u2018View request\u2019 button at the bottom. From there, they can view and edit the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:20px\">If the request isn\u2019t accepted, the community organisation will be able to see why.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Suppliers have more control over their offers<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 <strong>Edit &amp; remove offers to support community-led projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Things change. Community organisations take time to respond, circumstances shift, and sometimes a supplier&#8217;s offer needs updating before a match is made. Now, suppliers can <strong>manage their active offers<\/strong> directly from the <strong>project page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suppliers will see a new section showing their offer details, with <strong>&#8216;edit&#8217;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8216;remove&#8217;<\/strong> buttons at the bottom. A <strong>new project card<\/strong> is created for each match, using the same offer title, and sits alongside the active offer card in <strong>My Projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Have suggestions for future updates?
