Exactly one year ago, we featured Alphatrack Systems<\/strong> as our supplier of the month \u2014 sitting at the top of two leaderboards and delivering meaningful Social Value across communities from London and the South East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve months later, they\u2019ve done more than maintain that standard. They’ve raised it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still #1 in both Hyde Housing Association<\/a><\/strong> and Hackney Giving<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s leaderboards, they\u2019ve donated 252 hours<\/strong>, nearly \u00a3200,000 <\/strong>worth of funding and resources, and in one year, they’ve delivered more than half as many projects<\/strong> as they did in the three years before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alphatrack Systems<\/strong><\/a>, the fire and security systems specialist, has continued to be one of the most consistent and committed suppliers on the platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, that commitment was formally recognised when they were awarded Best Social Value Champion<\/strong> at the Hyde Social Value Supply Chain Awards<\/strong> \u2014 an award given to supply chain partners who consistently exceed their Social Value commitments and deliver exceptional community benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where it all started<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The journey with Match My Project began through one of their key customers, Hyde Housing Association<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Latham, Operations Director, explains: “Since adopting it, however, it has proven transformational<\/strong> in how we manage Social Value across our wider customer base and in how we approach our broader ambition to make a meaningful difference<\/strong>.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That transformation is of course visible in the numbers, but the stories that come out of their work are just as important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked to highlight a project that stood out, Mark didn’t hesitate to mention several.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting the provision of 250 Christmas hampers<\/strong> for Together Co<\/a><\/strong>, Brighton & Hove’s leading social health and loneliness charity, made a tangible difference to people who might otherwise have had very little to celebrate. Donations to Medway Foodbank<\/a><\/strong> have helped provide essential support to those in urgent need. And funding a new cooker for Unity Support Network<\/a><\/strong> in Hackney \u2014 an organisation that had been without a working one for some time \u2014 is a reminder that sometimes the most impactful contributions are also the most practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark reflects: “These examples demonstrate that impact is not <\/strong>always linked to scale<\/strong>. Targeted contributions<\/strong> can be equally significant.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A platform that brings clarity to commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the most common challenges suppliers face is knowing where their support<\/strong> is most needed. Match My Project, Mark says, has changed that entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Meeting Social Value commitments can be challenging, particularly when customers do not provide clear guidance on where support is needed. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Match My Project addresses this by giving us clear visibility of opportunities<\/strong> to contribute. It enables us to select projects that align<\/strong> with both our objectives and budget, ensuring we can consistently meet our commitments in a structured and measurable <\/strong>way.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past year, Alphatrack has also noticed a shift in the conversations they’re having with customers: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have seen increased awareness<\/strong> among customers who are familiar with the platform but not yet using it,”<\/em> Mark notes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This has created opportunities for more informed conversations<\/strong> about how the platform can support their own Social Value objectives.”<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alphatrack’s success, in other words, is becoming a blueprint for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The human side of Social Value<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We asked Mark about his experience working with community partners, and he said this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Their passion and commitment to Social Value are evident, and this shared focus <\/strong>helps ensure that collaborations are effective and meaningful<\/strong>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It reinforces the importance of working closely with organisations that genuinely care about the outcomes.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This <\/em>speaks to something important about how Social Value should work: not as a transaction, but as a collaboration between partners who are invested in the outcome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
